I believe this is intentional. I couldn't tell you why, though (not being a baloo dev). Could be for performance, or maybe NTFS is somehow not compatible. Thank you Nate. Maybe some baloo dev can give us details. Yes, this is intentional. It's believed that Baloo currently is not performant enough to index NTFS disks. Working on Baloo is on my long-term to-do list, but this probably wont't change until some more under-the-hood work is done. |
