Confirmed with Dolphin 16.12.3, in Kubuntu 17.04. I use 17.08 from Arch repositories. Thanks for clarifying. Right. Dolphin could check whether the kio job ended with the ERR_USER_CANCELED error and cleanup the incomplete destination file. @ https://phabricator.kde.org/D10635 I have a base fix, far from perfect as of now.
