Hello! I had been struggling with a bug for a few hours. But I've found a temporarily workaround.

The bug is:

I inserted an image to the video track. By default the image duration is just few seconds. I stretched it to 20 seconds.
Then I applied position and zoom effect. I set 2 keyframes at the beginning of the image and at the end. But motion doesn't work properly. It would start moving then suddenly stop moving. (although the red selection in the preview kept moving properly).

Then I realized that it suddenly stops after 6 seconds (the initial duration of the image).

The workaround:
I went to Configuration settings and change the image duration to 60 seconds.
Now I reduced the image duration from 60 -> to 20 seconds and the effect work properly!!!

Hope you will fix this bug and save a lot of nerves for other users!!

oh! Thats what it is!

Ive been struggling with this for a few hours as well...

I tried to reproduce it with a long clip in a new file but couldnt because it is not consistent. If you resize the clip at the begining it works, but if you do it later, it doesnt. Still not sure what triggers it, 

But going to the original title clip and setting the duration to 10h everything works again :)

Despite my tests I could not reproduce using latest stable code (17.08.3).
Can anyone confirm this is still happening?

Its likely that it happens in 17.08.3. It happened to me in 17.08.1 and I didnt see any change related in git

I wasnt able to reproduce it either because if you resize the clip right after you load it, it works, but if you do it at a later time, it doesnt

No idea what triggers it

I use transform instead of position and zoom now, so I dont have any project with this problem around

Since we are deprecating Position and Zoom, I am going to close this so we can focus on fixing and testing the Transform effect.
