Description Alex 2017-07-31 20:06:54 UTC
First:
I'm missing something like a minimal-mode for Spectacle.
This mode should contain: a small preview, a save button with pop-up window where to save the picture and a possibility to choose the Mode (Rectangular, full window...) -> almost same layout as ksnapshot had.

Second:
I'm missing an Option to remember the place where the last picture has been saved.

Till now I've used ksnapshot, now the change for spectacle took place and I've got this big window hiding the view all the time (I've got pdf's open to read in it paralell). The Functions of Spectacle are good, just the window is too big.

For the second issue, see bug 357120.

That was not what I meant, my English is not the best - sorry

I mean the path to the folder where the last picture has been saved to.

Which Spectacle version are you using? See bug 357817.
Comment 4 Alex 2017-08-02 19:10:15 UTC
I'm using version 16.08.3

I tested it again an found that this is already solved, thanks.

Now it's only my wish for a smaller window....

Smallest Spectacle window for landscape screenshot

The window can be resized to be pretty small, but I guess it's all relative. Here's a screenshot of my 1920x1080 screen with Spectacle's window made as small as possible for the aspect ratio of the current screenshot screen.

Is that good enough?

For me, I still like it smaller, but my study time is over and my need for a small gui is gone. I think I'm the only one with that wish, because of that I'm fine with this status and this should be closed.

Thanks everyone for the time :-)

Heh, OK, thanks.
