Which Phonon backend do you use? This is most certainly not an Amarok issue, but a problem with the backend, but without more details on which backend and which version of it there is little we can help Uhmm sorry to keep you waiting. Bad news, the laptop I had Linux mint KDE is no longer working. I will have to fix it and rebuild my KDE to be able to give more info. All I remember is that VLC was also using phonon but VLC didn't have the issue with those mp3 songs, it was only Amarok, that's why I'm reporting this as an Amarok bug, because I remember playing those files in VLC without trouble (and also seeing that VLC did use phonon as backend too) so I though it was something just between Amarok and Phonon and not just phonon. I can't remember the phonon version, but it should be the version that comes preisntalled in Linux Mint KDE 18.1 and 18.2 Thank you for your feedback. Since this is a known problem with the gstreamer backend using the old 0.10 plugins, I reassign this to the open bug there. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 359357 *** |
