Hello Northern Sky uses http:77minorplanetcenter.org/iau/Ephemerides/Soft06.html for Comets Data and update (TheSky format) We use JPL data for comets and asteroids. For supoernovae, we use Open Supernova Project Please test for comet C/2017 O1 (ASASSN) which is at present in Taurus and at about mag 8.5. This a is a newly discovered comet. It is listed on the other ephemeris element sources. Is the JPL data or KStars enquiry to update correctly configured? Similar test request for asteroid 3122 Florence . |
