Konqueror http://www.allaboutvision.com/nutrition/cataracts.htm gets stuck in x32 mode, as seen with strace. Reproducible. This is not the only site Konqueror does this on.

Version is 4.14.16.

Processor is Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU.

Please check with your distribution if all of your libraries and plugins, including libflashplayer, are compiled in x86_64 mode.
