Interesting. Some games (klickety, samegame, probably others) have the same issue. Others (e.g. ksnakeduel) do not. ksnakeduel is still Qt4 (until the next release of KDE Applications). Which version of Qt and KDE Frameworks do you use? You can see it from the Help->About <app> menu entry, "Libraries" tab.
