Description Bollebib 2017-04-25 15:00:39 UTC
when activating onion skins ,often i have to toggle between 2 frames to trigger the update of the canvas.

This obviously should not happen this way, the onion skins need to update immediatly on activation/deactivation to avoid losing time and effort.

The file i'm working now is 2880x1620 and has 50 to 60-ish frames with multiple layers (8 or so)
it also happens if i make the canvas size smaller.
It's 30MB in size. 8 bit depth.

I have 64 GB of ram and an nvidia gtx980

during the typing of this bug, the bug stopped happening, maybe due to refreshing with isolate layer mode? or because I undid a resize? or Maybe it dumped my history? I dont know.

I have the same thing happening with an 8bit file at 2000x5000 with 16frames.

I also have a similar issue where the canvas won't update properly when I toggle layer visibility on some layers. While it does say it is updating, it doesn't do much, and I have to switch frames to actually have it show anything.

@wolthera I also have this for isolate layer and toggling between layers, the canvas does not update properly

would that be a seperate issue? or the same?
