when i open my krita it seems to work normally but then once i press anywhere on the screen with the pen it closes immediately. even if the krita tab is not on screen. im using a huion tablet on windows 7

Can you try to disable opengl? If that makes a difference, please tell us which gpu and gpu driver version you have. If not, please make a crash log using Krita 3.1.3-beta 1 with these instructions https://docs.krita.org/Dr._Mingw_debugger. Please also try to reset your configuration and see whether that makes a difference: https://docs.krita.org/KritaFAQ#Resetting_Krita_configuration
