I just saw that the "smart patch" tool landed in master. I did a bit of testing. Functionally it seems to work pretty well. Here are some minor tweaks to make it fit in better with the rest of the application:

1. The tool options calls it "InPaint Tool". that should probably be removed
2. The tool options also has a fixed width so the contents don't scale at all.
3. When hovering over the tool, the shortcut tooltip is some weird symbol that doesn't look English

Usability comment...
1. Is the patch radius in pixels? we probably add a suffix to that input field if it is.

Occasionally I was getting corrupted image data with the results, but I couldn't reproduce it after a while. Something to look out for maybe in the future.
