Not having a public PDF to test is bad, your bug can't be tested by anyone. Are you sure you can't create a sample pdf to show this problem? I will create the test PDF shortly, thanks for looking into it. I am able to reproduce it on Samsung ML-2950. I can reproduce this by simply printing to pdf; see attached file. This is with the current git master on today's Debian testing. The problem goes away when using the patch from https://git.reviewboard.kde.org/r/130055/ which avoids the intermediate conversion to postscript in a few cases. Interesting, I was not able to reproduce it by printing to file when I have tried. However, now I can. I have probably made a mistake first time I have tried.
