OS Ubuntu 16.04
dolphin was installed via
"sudo apt-get install dolphin"

When I open the terminal (either via the menu option or via the Dolphin shortcut) - the empty panel appears at the bottom of Dolphin, and no terminal opens.

I've figured it out later, and everything works fine now, but I wasn't able to find a UI to delete my initial bug report.
