Ok I was missing user-manager. Still, maybe kickoff should detect if user-manager is not installed? the KCMshell import would have to also have a functionality to query for kcm modules. this would mean a sycoca query.. would that be advisable to be exported directly in QML? Click click on user icon - 'User Manager' KCM window is launched with 'The shared library was not found.' text in it. After installing 'user-manager' package - KCM module is launched normally. Distribution: Netrunner Rolling KDE Plasma Version: 5.10.4 KDE Apps Version: 17.08.0 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.37.0 Qt Version: 5.9.1 Kernel Version: 4.11.12-1-MANJARO Elvis can this now be closed? Seems dependency issues would be a distro issue. Not relevant today as the new Users KCM lives in plasma-workspace so there is no longer the possibility of a dependency issue. |
