Where is this "Open original directory"? Ah, sorry, it is in the context menu of symlinked folders. Could you add a screenshot? I don't have that option. Created attachment 104480 [details]
Context menu of symlinked folder in Folder View Plasma 5.9.2
I added a screenshot. The option is gone now (upgraded from openSUSE Leap 42.1 with KDE repos to Tumbleweed with Plasma 5.9.2). It was a useful feature. Seems that it was removed.
