If it crashes, could you please add the backtrace for the crash? For more information, please see https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports If you can provide the information requested in comment #1, please add it. No response, changing status. If you have new information, please add a comment. Hello! Sorry! I just saw the replies, received an email today ... How do i send the backtrace for the crash? Can you reply to my email almeida.monika@gmail.com? Thanks It is best to simply add the backtrace as a comment here. But what is the backtrace? :) (I'm a dummie in Linux :P) Gwenview simply doesn't work ... it shows no error message ... Do you get the crash dialog? See https://community.kde.org/Bugsquad/Basic_Guide_about_Crash_Reporting If not, please try starting "gwenview" from Konsole and add the output in the Konsole window as a comment. No response, changing status. Unless we have new information, we can only assume that the packagers of your distribution made a mistake in the Gwenview packages. Gwenview works fine in several distributions. I suggest to report this isse to the bug tracker of your distribution. |
