It would be nice to have an auto-hide option for any panels/ribbons/bars that are on the screen. 
Here is an example from another piece of software (sorry for the resolution of the video, I am not sure why the video looks that way, probably because of the full screen mode). I find it very useful on a small screen e.g. laptop screen.

That is Zoner Photo Studio 18.

I use it for culling process mostly. It groups RAW and JPG nicely. I also like that single click on a picture zooms in 100% (actual size), one more click zooms out back to the preview (fit the screen); double click on a picture goes to a browser view (thumbnails). Also, right click menu has Copy To and Move To and it remembers the last folder I used (I use it to separate work/unsorted and family/unsorted pics right away)
