Created attachment 103263 [details]
screenshot of Panel which appears if press Win+P in Windows

It is convinient to turn off/on monitors with win+p shortcut, because you do not need to go to system settings to do that.
But it would be more convinient if user could visually choose needed option before switching to it rather than toggling options blindly.

In Windows OS they provide such option. A special panel appears where you can choose needed option with arrows or with same shortcut (see attached screenshot).
Possible options are:
1) PC screen only
2) Duplicate
3) Extend
4) Second screen only

I am not sure if I should file this bug to Kscreen. I have found this function in All settings -> Shortcuts -> Global Shortcuts -> Power Management -> Switch Display.

As temporal workaround I use custom shortcut which executes the following comand:
kcmshell5 kcm_kscreen
It opens kscreen settings module where I can manually choose which display to turn off and which to turn on.

This is planned to be made an option in the redesigned kscreen kcm. First code is already there, but may take some time. (Join in, if you have some time...)

Heh this was implemented years ago.
