It appears that this goes away when running plasma failsafe desktop. Does running alt+f2 kwin_x11 --replace also fix it? I ended up following some advice from the gentoo wiki (https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Intel#Configuration) and turning on explicit modesetting. It seemed to fix the problem up, so I'm assuming the issue I was having stemmed from the intel driver, not plasma. |
