This bug also exists in Kubuntu 17.04 with this package version: Package: kwin Version: 4:5.9.4-0ubuntu1 Sometimes position/size of Konsole window is restoring if Restore previous session is enabled in Desktop Session - but very often not. If Start with an empty session is enabled - very often only size of Konsole window is preserved. Sometimes when tiling to 50% of screen - Konsole window is restored only in 25% of screen. Also sometimes geometry state for previous logout (not recent one) of Konsole window is restored Plasma: 5.12.4 Apps: 17.12.4 Frameworks: 5.44.0 Qt: 5.10.1 Kernel: 4.14.32-1-MANJARO OS: Netrunner Rolling Video: Intel 4400 Driver: xf86-video-intel 1:2.99.917+823+gd9bf46e4-1 Screen: 1600x900 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 325566 *** This is actually not a duplicate of the other bug. Bug #325566 is about re-applying the original geometry when dragging a window, which is in a tiled state. This bug is about session restoration and applying the last tiled / floating state and geometry. |
