Currently, KIinfoCenter reports OpenGL version as compatibility profile only, which is basically what's not supposed to be used by any normal application. I.e. it's more relevant to show core profile. When reporting single version like that, report core profile, or you can report both (core and compatibility). That would make more sense.

the new GL modules is showing more comprehensive data, in particular also the core profile
