Krita crashes each time I leave the mouse over an icon for indication (help bubble text appears)

I reinstalled the soft multiple times and boot it from previous windows setup (windows 7) but it remains. OS : MS windows 10

Hi Dalou,

The tooltip system is the default one provided by the platform. If that crashes, there must be something special about the setup of your system. Reinstalling an application doesn't make sense in that case, but it's not Krita, it's your system where something is weird. 

You could try to reset Krita's configuration (reinstalling doesn't do that): https://docs.krita.org/KritaFAQ#Resetting_Krita_configuration .

If that doesn't work you could try to gather information about the crash using the latest release candidate (https://krita.org/en/item/krita-3-1-release-candidate/).

Hi Dalou,

Since this doesn't happen for most people, and I cannot reproduce it, I would appreciate if you could try to reset your configuration and if it still happens, create a backtrace, as per the instructions above. Without that information, I cannot investigate what is going on.
