forgot... system info: KDE Plasma: 5.7.5 KDE Frameworks: 5.26.0 Qt Version: 5.6.1 Kernel: Linux 4.8.0-26-generic (64-bit) Distribution: Ubuntu 16.10 update... After further research, I've found that there is as "ORGANIZER:" line item in all offending entries which was set to mattz_email... whereas all items/events that respond correctly did not have an "ORGANIZER:" line item entry. I have no idea where these items originated. I went into the .ics file and deleted all entries with ORGANIZER line (and re-entered in calendar) and now everything seems to be working ok. So I'm not sure if this is a bug or not. HTH, Matt Z. Thank you for reporting this bug in KDE software.
