This change of behaviour would be disputable, it definitely needs more discussion before it can be implemented. In the manual Filter Masks — Krita Manual 5.0.0 documentation there is a sentence that states: “You can edit the settings for a filter mask at any time by double clicking on it in the Layers docker.” Using Krita 5.0 Beta 2, this is non-existent, instead it prompts to rename a layer. As far as double clicking for properties, for layer filters, there definitely is space to implement a hitbox on the filter icon itself to go to the properties. For regular layers, the preview thumbnail could become the hitbox to go to the properties. @Tiar, the discussion could be continued here (https://krita-artists.org/t/double-click-on-layer-filter-mask-to-edit-settings/31801), I suppose. |
