I have almost the same behavior: 1) KRunner only appears (but on proper place) if it's run from main monitor (laptop's), it doesn't appear if currently active is the external monitor 2) Application Launcher shows up in the middle of the screen instead of being next to the button. what is interesting, is that selecting the other monitor as main solves makes them behave vice versa. I don't know how, but after playing with it many times, it is possible to put things right. But this problem preserves after each reboot. @vnik0: do things work well if your primary monitor is on the left in the display settings? Ubuntu/Unity has the same bug - if the primary monitor is to the right of the secondary monitor, windows are mis-placed - they open on the wrong screen. Which windows are mis-placed exactly? Cuz App Launcher was broken even if I tried primary monitor on the right. Is this bug still happening on newer Plasma versions?
