Addendum: Aha! I just found out why this happens. I have "Double-click to open files and folders" enabled in Mouse Controls (Desktop Settings). This interferes with the behavior of the Add Folder dialog. So if I change to "Single-click to open files and folders" the dialog works as expected. Apparently the rename mechanism has priority over the open folder mechanism. However, I want to have the double-click function in other places so I don't want to switch. Is it possible to fix it so that the double-click-to-rename mechanism is disabled if the "Double-click to open files and folders" is enabled? You can still rename folders using the F2 key if that is really what you want. > Most programs don't actually say what version it's running To find out the version of an application, use the "Version" tab in its about dialog. To find out the version of the Plasma shell, use KInfoCenter. > I hope someone will move it to the right place I have reassigned this to kio developers. Oy vey, still happening in Frameworks 5.40. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 324397 *** |
