Try disabling the KScreen module in systemsettings > Startup and Shutdown > Service Manager.
Thanks for the bug report! Unfortunately, Plasma 4 is unmaintained upstream, so I'll have to close this bug. If you upgrade to a newer version of Plasma (5.8 has many fixes included). As to a work-around, it seems that you're using the XRandR 1.1 backend. Now I don't know if Debian stable supports also newer XRandR. You can force kscreen to use the XRandR (instead of the older XRandR1.1 backend by exporting KSCREEN_BACKEND=XRandR (This variable has to be set before the session is fully started, as it needs to be picked up by the kded process.) *** Bug 357253 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 382600 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** |
