If I press <Alt><F2>, krunner also crashes. The only way of shutting down the system is <Ctrl><Alt><Del>, which also crashes kmserver, followed by short press on Power button on my box. debug symbols would be needed for a better backtrace, in addition, bing an assert, also terminal output *** Bug 364189 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** (In reply to Marco Martin from comment #2) > debug symbols would be needed for a better backtrace, in addition, bing an > assert, also terminal output Terminal output is impossible to get because of crash. Can't install debug symbols for the same reason. How do I boot to console? It all started when updating the proprietary NVIDIA driver after restarting and could not enter KDE was left with a black screen until you change the type of section could enter but did not appear like the desktop only yakuake nothing more After upgrade to Linux 4.1.26-21-default, this bug no longer manifests itself. Looks like it's specific to version 4.1.21-14-default. Marking as resolved. |
