I have the same problem with my work and personal accounts. To reproduce: 1. Set up two identities with corresponding IMAP and SMTP settings. 2. Make one of them default. 3. Compose a new message. 4. Try to select the other identity from the "Identity:" combo-box. 5. Combo-box does not exist any more (was there in the 4.x series). Instead there is an editable "From:" field. The old identity selector also changed the SMTP server that would be used for that message. Thank you for reporting this bug in KDE software.
