Description schwarzeralptraum 2016-05-25 18:13:44 UTC
If you duplicate a layer with animation frames in it, and try to modify the animations in the new layer, it affects the original layer as well

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create an animation on a layer (I made at least three frames)
2. Duplicate this layer by clicking on the duplicate button in the layer docker.
3. In the new layer, delete the last few frames (optionally, you can try to replace them with something else, like new frames, but I don't know if it's required)

Actual Results:
The new and the original layer look identical.

Expected Results:
The new layer should be modified while the original layer keeps its original animation frames from before.

I don't know if you can reproduce it exactly like this every time, but it's happened for me a few times.

I have experienced something similar when doing sprite animation recently, including one that produces a crash quite consistently...

Beelzy, can you still reproduce this?

It appears to work properly now. I'm not getting any crashes on my side now though. Maybe the method of reproducing the bug has changed since you are getting it and I'm not.

Alright, I'll just close this one then.
