*** Bug 356116 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 371759 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 373729 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 361631 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** No duplicates from version 5.2 or newer. Can you confirm this issue is fixed in recent KDEPIM versions? I can reproduce the issue every time I do: * open composer * press "Select" button for To/CC/BCC address * crash. kmail, kontact, and akonadiserver report version 5.4.0 (I have a KDE neon User Edition 5.8 installation). I hid the bug today several times in the same way as described comment 6 under kmail/kontact from the KDE Application 17.04.0 release. *** Bug 382804 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 384480 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** I set up Kmail and my address book for the first time syncing with my google contacts. I added a contact to the address book. When I selected it from within Kmail, Kmail crashed. When I removed the new address from the address book, I could select any existing address from Kmail without crashing. The problem also happens from adding a contact from the context menu on the senders address of a received email. *** Bug 384693 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 385197 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 383106 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 380481 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 378329 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** FWIW, I'm on KMail/Kontact 5.5.3, akonadiserver 5.5.3, KDE neon User Edition 5.10, and I'm not seeing the crash anymore. I have not replaced config files, Mail storage, or anything else. Just regular updates through KDE neon. I updated kmail, kontact and akonadiserver to 5.4.3 (I would like to know how to update to 5.5.3) and it still crashes on select recipients. *** Bug 385123 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 387152 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 378880 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 377079 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 377061 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 388117 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** You might want to consider if this was caused by a Qt bug that was resolved fixed in 5.8, as described in Bug 361895, Comment 1. *** Bug 396884 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Still happens with Qt 5.9.4, see recent duplicate. Thank you for the crash report. As it has been a while since this was reported, can you please test and confirm if this issue is still occurring or if this bug report can be marked as resolved. I have set the bug status to "needsinfo" pending your response, please change back to "reported" or "resolved/worksforme" when you respond, thank you. Dear Justin,
I could but now cannot replicate the bug, because I changed the system
an do not work with kontact anymore.
Kind regards,
Michael
