Probably related: #255104 I have the same error but the "resourceId" is 4 instead of 3. This happended after I changed the thash-folders of my gmx.de and googlemail account to the corresponding IMAP-folders. By ignoring the errormessage and using kmail I found out, that I can delete emails from my gmx account (and see them later in the corresponding thrash folder). I couldn't do the same on my googlemail account. So the error is very likely at my googlemail account. Created attachment 98667 [details]

The problem was the local folder. After executing "rm -rf .local/share/local-mail/trash/" KMail works normal again. [Source]: https://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=215&t=120777 (In reply to niclas.rossberger from comment #5) > The problem was the local folder. After executing "rm -rf > .local/share/local-mail/trash/" KMail works normal again. > [Source]: https://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=215&t=120777 That workaround didn't worked form me, instead the solution from 'progdan' in https://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=215&t=120777&p=368778#p368778 , that implies use of 'akonadiconsole', worked. Bug is substantially equivalent to #339214 and #366388 but either surprisingly yet in "unconfirmed" state. All are related to change of location of trash folder from local to an IMAP folder. But, in my opinion, this bug SHOULD indeed be taken into proper attention as it's particularly annoying: it stops KMail immediately after execution and discourages non-skilled users. Furthermore the workaround can not be readily found. *** Bug 373748 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** I also have regular crashes of akonadi-server when closing kontact. See the two attached traceback files. I also have Trash folders pointing to the trash folders of the 5 IMAP-servers. I had a message about a duplicate entry in the MySQL database, which I could not solve. Finally I solved that by moving the folder ~/.local/share/akonadi to ~/.local/share/akonadi.sav, which effectively destroys the MySQL database. But starting kontact apparently rebuild the database from scratch. Inspection showed that I had to redirect the trash again to the trash folders of each IMAP server, which seems to be the only configuration that is lost. Finally I destroyed ~/.local/share/akonadi.sav. Created attachment 103155 [details]
