Wegerf, do you think it could also be more appropriate to change the Render icon entirely? Do you think the "record" icon image convey the proper message to users? I admit that at first I found the recording icon for rendering totally counterintuitive; I thought it would refer to recording from a firewire camera or screen recording. However, I still have no clear idea what symbol could be used for rendering. Maybe an export icon but I'm not sure.
