the file is ~/.config/kwinrc and DO NOT DELETE it, but please attach it to the bug Thanks for your fast reply, Thomas. I just upgraded to kde version 5.5.3 using ppa:kubuntu-ppa/backports, yet there is no change in the described behaviour. Created attachment 97021 [details]

run "kcmshell5 kwintabbox" and disable the discrimination based on the minimization and ESPECIALLY the activity. Does that change anything? wow, it worked! Great! I dont remember changing these settings... That you so much! Was the problem the minimization state or the activity matching (just tried, "all other activities" seems to make little sense and be rather confusing if there's only one activity - do you have more than one activity?) nope, i just have one 'default' activity. the problem seems to be the minimization state. if i check "filter windows by minimization state" i can hit apply without making any further discrimination (Hidden/Visible Windows). Result is the same issue. If i further more discriminate regarding Hidden Windows: same issue, no windows appear in task switcher. No filter against Minimization or filter against Minimization and 'Visible Windows' checked works fine. |
