just opening a file frmo the command line, inside screen
$ okular file.pdf
(the same file can be opened without problems if the terminal is not inside gnu screen)

The crash can be reproduced every time.

If someone has a newer version of Debian and can open a pdf file with okular inside gnu screen then this issue should be closed.

Can you install debug symbols of kdelibs and give us the backtrace again?

Right now, with Debian 9.5 and okular 0.26.1 it works and doesn't crash.
Consider this fixed.
