This happens on Kubuntu 15.10 (wily); KDE from the kubuntu-ppa. I notice this because everything worked fine with plasma 4 on Kubuntu 14.04. Please see my comment on Bug 356225 regarding plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc. It might be helpful to workaround the issue. Funnily, it looks like it magically fixed itself yesterday just when I pressed the Submit button for this bug: Suddenly the panel appeared on my laptop screen. Today I was at the office (where my extra screen is) and now I'm back home again and the panel behaves exactly like it should. I'm sure: this issue will return as long the bug is not resolved. There are a couple of open issues relating to this one.... *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 356727 *** |
