Thanks for the bug report. This is a KIO issue, might be related to bug 278431. Dolphin 4.14 is extremely outdated, by the way. I'm using the one that comes with Kubuntu 14.04 and I've got backports downloading. How do I get the newest version of Dolphin? At this point, you should upgrade to Ubuntu 18.04, which will be released in two days. Meanwhile, I'm closing this crash in unmaintained/unsupported KF4 software. If anyone can still reproduce using recent KF5 versions of KIO and Dolphin, please file a new bug. Why are you closing this, isn't 14.04 being supported for some time longer. Anyway, I've being forced to upgrade to 16.04 due to an unrecoverable crash. Ubuntu 14.04 is (at least theoretically) supported by Canonical, not KDE. The ancient KDE software shipped in Ubuntu 14.04 is not supported by KDE. Feel free to file a launchpad ticket for Ubuntu 14.04 about this, but I 99% guarantee you that it won't go anywhere, I'm afraid... |
