It keeps happening .. install opera .. it creates /usr/bin/opera .. drag from Kmenu Application Internet Opera to desktop as shortcut ... wait for "a new update of opera" (which just replaces /usr/bin/opera with a new version) .. desktop icon disappears during the upgrade.. Can't reproduce - tried with various apps shortcuts after updates in: Distribution: KDE neon Developer Edition - Unstable Branches Plasma: 5.11.90 Frameworks: 5.42.0 Qt: 5.9.3 Kernel 4.10.0-42-generic Netrunner Rolling Plasma: 5.11.4 Apps: 17.08.3 Frameworks: 5.40.0 Qt: 5.9.3 Kernel: 4.14.3-1-MANJARO Let's call this fixed. If it happens again, please re-open the bug. Thanks! |
