I have the same problem, it also occurs when hovering and switching (alt+tab) to a fullscreen application. The preview stays visible until one hovers over the application in the taskbar again and moves out of it. I cannot successfully reproduce the issue though. The most useful thing would be a quick 10 second video. Do either of you think you could do that? Created attachment 96422 [details]

Video description: I click on the Kontact icon, then move the mouse cursor over Iceweasel (without clicking) icon and then move it over the wallpaper. After a few seconds, description over Iceweasel disappears, but the icon is still hovered. Everything on a newly created account, Plasma 5.4.3, Debian testing.
I think it's easier to reproduce this bug when running a heavier application or when I have many running tasks (many windows opened). But that's probably not a rule. Sometimes there's no description box, only the [clicked/hovered] icon stays hovered.
Should be fixed with Plasma Frameworks 5.18 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 356938 *** |
