Kubuntu 14.04, KDE  4.14.2

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Time zone settings
2. Search Simferopol

Actual Results:  
Simferopol Europe/Russia

Expected Results:  
Simferopol Europe/Ukraine

The information in the time zone settings widget comes from the system time zone database (zone.tab), which is not a part of KDE.

You will have to direct your complaint to IANA (Internet Assigned Numbers Authority), which maintains that database.
