Description sombragris 2015-10-16 19:32:31 UTC
I use a laptop. When I use the laptop on its own krunner behaves normally. However, when I plug a monitor, I can see the krunner window if I type Alt+F2 when the mouse pointer is on the secondary (monitor) screen.

However, if I type Alt+F2 when the mouse pointer is on the main (laptop) screen, krunner does not show this window.

There is a hint that krunner was invoked, however: all the other windows appear to lose focus.

Even more: if you type something, krunner THEN appears at the top left corner of the SECONDARY display with the relevant drop-down choices.

This is a strange behavior and could be very confusing to inexperienced users.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Plug a monitor to the laptop as a secondary display.
2.Put the mouse pointer on the laptop screen.
3. Type Alt+F2. Nothing happens. Type something then, and krunner will appear on the MONITOR, not the laptop screen.

Actual Results:
Krunner is not shown in any screen. All windows lose focus. If you type something, krunner will appear in the secondary screen.

Expected Results:
krunner should appear after Alt+F2 invocation on the relevant screen

I also see this issue. But it is not 100% reproduceable for me as you described. Krunner just sometimes does not appear on one screen in a multi screen setup.
