Check the screen shot to see the bug I'm experiencing and have been experiencing for a few versions, I thought it was fixed in this version: Version 15.08.1 (what I'm running), but it was just not visible by default.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open kdenlive
2.View > Effect Stack
3.Effect stack window then appears occluding the project preview window

Actual Results:  
Produced a floating effects stack window

Expected Results:  
produced a tab where "effects list" and "transition" are containing the same widgets

qt version 4.8.7

I was startled by a similar situation into making a bug report as well:  https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=355819

Workaround:
1. View->Show Title Bars
2. Drag the tab where you want it, it should snap to the position and join the other tabs when you stop dragging it there.
