This also happens for HDMI device. When HDMI cable is unplugged, the output does not go automatically to the laptop speakers. Also, after changing the device priority, i have to set manually the master channel in kmix, really annoying... Platform: Mnaaro 15.09 (64-bit) KDE Plasma: 5.4.1 Qt: 5.5.0 Kernel: 4.1.9-1-MANJARO Processor: Intel core i5-4200U Here is some more detailed description about changing the master channel. There are two scenarios: - [ GOOD behaviour ] HDMI plugged, analog device is top priority: when i change the priority from analog to hdmi, the master channel changes. - [ BAD behaviour ] HDMI unplugged, hdmi device is top priority: when i change the priority from hdmi to analog, the master channel remains hdmi, i have to change it to analog manually using kmix.
