Additional information. There are over 100,000 files in the collection. The collection being worked on here is on a virtualbox "Shared Folder" - which is shared by the underlying windows 7 host. If you unselect "Work on all processor cores" this is different ? Gilles Caulier It seemed to run longer this time after unchecking 'Work on all processor cores" - however it still crashed with message "Executable: digikam PID: 2349 Signal: Aborted (6) Time: 07/11/15 04:35:30 PM" I've experimented with selective album selection (so far 2000 files or less) at a time, and it hasn't been crashing during these runs. So there seems to be a work-around. digiKam 4.12.0 is out. https://www.digikam.org/node/741 Problem still reproducible ?
