I think plasma-nm is handling the XF86WLAN key by toggling airplane mode. However this doesn't seem to be user configurable (except by using xmodmap to assign a key to XF86WLaN). I think this should be made a user configurable global keyboard shortcut. Yes, this functionality is missing. Airplane mode can be toggled through the GUI widget, but making this programmatically accessible and setting the XF86WLAN key to toggle it by default would be very nice. The XF86WLAN key toggles Wi-Fi, which is fine, but this does not toggle the "airplane" mode in the plasmoid/widget. *** Bug 365187 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 365187 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** This just goes round and round.
