Sorry, I can't take screenshot because after upgrade system hangs. When I fix it I will post screenshots. But even on photo you can see that icons are about a half of the panel width.

As comparison - icon size in KDE 4 - icon-task-fork has option to scale icons - this is great feature and would be awesome to have it in default icon-only task manager in plasma 5
Correction: on plasma4.png I use Icon tasks by Craig Drummond It also has option to set space between icons in pixels. But smooth-tasks-fork also has some great features. https://bitbucket.org/flupp/smooth-tasks-fork The icon size is limited by available space within the task button frame. The frame in the Breeze theme is wide enough to e.g. fit that strip you see to the right of the spinner in comment #3. However, the margin sizes in the theme are currently wider for vertical vs. horizontal, which is a bit odd. I'm not sure yet if this in the theme SVG files or the panel code. It's a long time since last comment - almost a year. Can we expect some changes any time soon? Icons on panel on task manager are ridiculously small in relation to panel size. Not only in active task but in launchers as well. http://i.imgur.com/4thkFmp.png There are no changes planned to this at this time - that's just a theme that needs fixing. The Breeze theme bugs mentioned in comment #7 got fixed since, I forgot to update the bug. |
