I tried uninstalling k3b and then re-installing it. No luck. Same for me on Kubuntu 15.04 using K3B version 2.0.3 on KDE 4.14.8. Medium is recognised and appropriate info given, reports medium is empty. Burn button in dialog is disabled. Apologies, problem was that the size of the data was too large for the disc, reduced the data to be written to less than the size of the disc and the burn button became active. Poor feedback IMO.
