Currently, you can use the service menus to compress to a format, but if you implement #348579 there should be a means to manage the different format settings as well, without having to change each setting to fit each scenario.

A preset system seems ideal in that case. 

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Compress an archive with custom options to 7z using LZMA
2. Compress an archive with custom options to 7z using LZMA2


Actual Results:  
You have to change all settings manually between 1) and 2)

Expected Results:  
A possibility to save 1) and 2) as a preset, switch takes one click.
