Description HE47HEN 2015-05-12 19:20:09 UTC
Right now Kickoff alway remembers the applications it last launched.
I think not everyone needs this behavior and there should be an option in the right click menu to turn this behavior off.

The "recently used" tab should probaply disappear when there is nothing to display in it ( e.g. tracking of recent documents and of recent applications in Kickoff disabled.)

It can be a good wish if not remembering of docs/apps will be system-wide and KRunner, Dashboard, Kicker also will not remember recently used.

This issue is a reincarnation of Bug 186986 from plasma4.

It would be great to be able to remove the History tab entirely. At least for me, plasmashell crashes whenever I so much as mouse over the "History" tab. See Bug 388477 for further details of that problem.

I think the point of this feature request was the ability to have Kickoff never remember history. This is important for privacy reasons. Doesn't "Forget all" simply clear the existing history, but then continue to record it?
