Sorry for the late answer; does it still happen with recent versions? I think about 38265304276e6305f72a7e1a68aa1b4193657820 (https://git.reviewboard.kde.org/r/124542/), so Frameworks >=5.14. oof - it'll take me a few days to check up on this I can confirm that the bug does not exist in trunk.
